In the last month of summer, the market for dairy raw materials began to become more active, so even in the first days of August, the cost of purchasing raw milk gradually began to increase. Experts from the INFAGRO platform predict that by the end of this month the price will begin to rise more massively.
The main factor behind such a sharp increase in demand is not the need for this product abroad as it was last year. Currently, international prices for dairy products are at a fairly low level and do not contribute to the development of exports at all. Importing goods from abroad to our country is also not profitable at the moment due to the rather high price.
Since currently there is almost no cheese production in the country due to the fact that it is almost never imported from abroad, the demand for domestic products is gradually increasing. At the moment, it is the cheese producer who needs the largest amount of dairy raw materials.
Due to the rather hot weather, the amount of raw milk production also decreases, and farmers and producers do not have a large amount of feed left on the farms, which in turn contributes to a decrease in milk solids.
Now in Ukraine, the balance between supply and demand is fairly balanced, so there is almost no dependence on exports, and prices are formed only by the situation in our country.
