As experts predicted, the price of buckwheat in Ukraine began to decrease by the end of the month. Now the average price of a kilogram of groats is UAH 77, which is UAH 4.5 less than last month.
The average price in October was almost UAH 81/kg. The Ministry of Finance reports that the price in stores now starts at UAH 67, the most expensive can be purchased for UAH 90.
The tendency to decrease the price of groats in Ukraine has been maintained for a whole quarter, the first price decrease occurred in autumn, then in September the price dropped from UAH 93 to UAH 88 per kilogram, the following month the price decreased by UAH 8, and already in November, a kilogram of groats could be purchased for 77 hryvnias
Due to the good harvest and the hard work of our farmers, the dynamics of price reduction should be maintained in the future. Over the past six months, this is the lowest price per kilogram, but still more expensive than before the start of the full-scale invasion.
