This year, our country sent approximately 47,000 tons of eggs abroad, which is about 90% more compared to the same period last year, according to analysts from the Shareuapotential platform, based on data from the Customs Service of Ukraine.
If measured in monetary terms, almost $58 million was received from the export of eggs this year, which is about $20 million more than last year, but it should also be noted that the average price in 2023 fell by 19%.
It is precisely because of the decrease in the export price, which fell from $1.5 to less than $1.2, that the number of shipped products is also decreasing, a trend experts have been observing for the past few months.
But despite all these factors, the export of these products remains quite stable and brings good profits.
