Ukraine hopes for the continuation and long-term operation of the grain corridor

04.10.2022 12:10

Ukraine continues consultations with the participants of the grain agreement, namely the UN and Turkey, and hopes that the corridor will continue to work, noted Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Food.

Almost 6 million tons of agricultural products were exported in 2 months. Most of our products are consumed by countries in Africa and Asia. Wheat, corn and oil are the most relevant now.
There is also an increase in the number of goods for shipment with added value, such as animals.

Due to the opening of the EU market and the removal of restrictions, we will be able to increase the volume of exports of almost all categories of goods. Even before that, Ukraine sent a large amount of meat and milk, but the latter is gaining even more momentum, and the volumes of classic exports are also increasing.

Ukraine will try to send less raw materials and more already manufactured products from these raw materials, we hope for this in the future as well.
