The leadership of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine at a working meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Fan Xianzhong discussed the deepening of trade and economic relations in the agrarian sphere and the expansion of the nomenclature of Ukrainian exports.
The Ukrainian side expressed concern about the delays in the processing of permit documents for the export of corn and soybeans to China next year, and therefore emphasized that it is now important to complete the procedure and approve the list of exporters for their further work.
The Minister of Ukraine, Mykola Solsky, assured that Ukraine fully ensures internal food security in war conditions and has the potential to increase exports, including to China.
The Chinese ambassador, in turn, expressed interest in importing Ukrainian agricultural products: oil, soybeans, peas, poultry and animal feed.
