During the meeting of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal with the ministers of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the results of the agricultural year were summed up, and the support programs for agricultural producers for 2023 were outlined.
This year, the state significantly increased the number of credit support programs for farmers. UAH 36.9 billion of agricultural loans were issued within «5-7-9». UAH 1.7 billion of which was involved for sowing, and UAH 24 billion for state portfolio guarantees.
In addition, UAH 1.65 billion of support was provided to 30,000 small farmers, thanks to which more than 65 million tons of crops were harvested in 2022.
In 2023, the government will continue to support farmers. In addition to the already allocated funds from the state budget, there are also agreements with international partners for 1.5 billion dollars for various directions of assistance to farmers.
