The corn harvesting season has started in Ukraine, so in the near future the harvesting company will gain momentum and the number of offers on the market will increase, the price of the product for export should decrease to almost $231 per ton, reports the «PUSK» analytical center.
«Right now, the corn drilling season is just starting, so the equipment that will do this is just starting to go out into the field. For this month, we plan to collect approximately 31 million tons of products. „Prices for export by sea are currently in the range of $203-222 per ton,“ noted Oleksiy Tartakovsky
The highest price is currently for corn sent to the EU, but experts predict a drop in prices in the near future. Corn heading to Romania, Poland, Hungary is currently priced at approximately $245-255 per ton, but experts say that by November 12, the price will drop to $225-238 including delivery.
