In the de-occupied Kherson region, about 18,000 tons of watermelons and 1,300 tons of melons were harvested.

«Despite constant enemy attacks, the harvest continues in Kherson. Already from the Kherson fields, farmers have harvested more than 190 thousand tons of cereals and legumes, 23 thousand tons of rape, 11 thousand tons of potatoes, 6 thousand tons of vegetables», – said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration.

It is emphasized that farmers grow Kherson melon crops, which are known throughout the country. According to Mr. Prokudin, 18,000 tons of watermelons and 1,300 tons of melons were harvested.

This year, they were able to plant 1,000 hectares of melon crops, 850 hectares of watermelons and 150 hectares of melons in the liberated territories of the Kherson region.
