The closer the New Year holidays are to us, the more money will have to be paid for fruit on supermarket shelves, experts from the RBC-Ukraine platform predict that the highest price will be recorded a few days before the holidays.
So, for example, apples today cost 35% more than a few weeks ago. 1 kilogram of «Aidared» variety costs 20 hryvnias, Ukrainian apple almost 18 hryvnias.
The New Year cannot be imagined without fragrant tangerines, so far the price of citrus fruit has hardly changed, but it will increase one hundred percent in the near future.
Analysts note that since the beginning of the season, the price of citrus fruit was slightly overestimated (within 10% compared to last year), but now the prices have stabilized. It is best to buy Turkish tangerines at Silpo, they cost 41 hryvnias for 1 kilogram, and you can also buy citrus fruits from Spain at Varus.
Currently, the situation with the border blockade has a rather negative effect on the cost. We continue to purchase European products, but due to delays, prices for logistics and, accordingly, for final products are increasing.
