With the beginning of autumn, sugar prices continue to rise and it does not look like prices will be fixed yet. Obviously, as long as we have a shortage of this product, prices will not decrease.
After comparing prices in retail networks, you can track the dynamics of their growth.
At the beginning of August, the price per kilogram was UAH 31.35. currently UAH 33.80, i.e. by UAH 2.45. in such a short period.
Note that now the cheapest sugar costs UAH 32.90. per kilogram
For comparison: at the beginning of December 2021, the average price was UAH 26.37., and now for almost UAH 34. That is, in 10 months, the price increased by 28.17%. But the price of sugar will decrease a little already this quarter, and we are talking more about the last months of autumn, when we will receive the sugar of this year's harvest. However, it is not worth waiting for a long and significant decrease, a third of sugar enterprises will not open, which will cause an increase in the cost of production.
