Nuts and seeds, which are mistaken for nuts (such as almonds), are useful primarily in the following ways: - High protein content (10-20% depending on the type of nuts or seeds) - Complete protein composition (ie it contains essential amino acids ). - High content of unsaturated fatty acids, including long-chain polyunsaturated omega-3 and omega 6 fatty acids. - Many tocopherols and related molecules (you know exactly one of them - vitamin E), as well as vitamins B6, folate, niacin. - Fiber (3.5-10% depending on the type of nut or seed). - Trace elements (iron, selenium, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium - depending on the type). Nuts are a valuable source of protein and useful fats. Sometimes you hear that nuts are too high in calories to eat often and a lot, and more than two nuts a day is no longer a benefit but a pity. It does not. Studies of people who regularly and extensively eat nuts have shown that they do not have problems with weight, fat balance or heart and blood vessels. On the contrary: At least 12 grams of nuts a day reduce the risk of stroke. Regular consumption of nuts improves the balance of blood lipoproteins and lowers total cholesterol. The constant presence of nuts in the diet is often a manifestation of the fact that the diet of an individual is based on plant foods (which is good), and such people consume more folate, vitamin E, copper, zinc and fiber. Alpha-lipoic fatty acid of nuts (especially walnuts) can be converted in our body into docosahexaenoic and eicosahexaenoic omega-3 polynuclear fatty acids. When we have enough of them, and they do not come from supplements, the risk of cardiovascular disease and the development of "dry eye" syndrome is reduced. The range of LLC "West-Confectioner" has the following types of nuts: - roasted peanuts packed 200g and 80g - roasted almonds packed 200g and 80g - roasted hazelnuts packed 200g and 80g - roasted cashews packed 200g and 80g - roasted pistachios packed 200g and 80g - nut mixed fried packed 200g and 80g
